The fourth season of the Latin American Poker Tour Pokerstars has come to an end, to win the championship this year we thought Daniel Nestola.

The Italian German Nestola Daniel managed to take home the win getting the better of the likes of Daniel Negreanu, after eliminating Vitor Torres and Juan Gonzalez, has fallen to Negreanu who qualified in sixth place followed by Carlos Ibarra. In order to contend for the title were Nestola Gaspernio and Venezuela’s Nicolas who had to bow before the new King

Nestola has received a check amounting to $ 168,421,000, after winning traveled to Brazil to celebrate the famous Carnival of Rio and of course the victory. That said, we can only congratulate him for this well deserved and overwhelming victory, certainly in the course of 2012 there will be other opportunities for other players to make up as you say.

Topping the field after the small Day 1A is Las Vegas’ Steve O’Dwyer with 190,975 chips. As blinds and antes are only set to increase to 300/600/75 next level, his more than 35,000 chip lead over second place contestant Lauri Varonen is quite sizeable. Later in the year, Steve O’Dwyer took down the €1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Re-buy tournament at EPT Loutraki (,439) and placed second in the World Poker Tour (WPT) Venice Main Event (8,063).

It’s not like he was some chump before 2011, either. He had a many five-figure cashes plus a 2,362 score for a 6th place finish in the 2009 WPT Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic. All told, Steve O’Dwyer has won just over million on the live tournament circuit.
